Abstract text
Abstract:
Please note! This workshop has been merged with "How to complete a Cochrane protocol for qualitative evidence synthesis". To sign up for it, please go to that workshop.

Objectives:
This workshop is intended to show how the information from qualitative research protocols and future review results can be fitted in the current RevMan software. Also, the audience is invited to reflect on what could be done to better facilitate the inclusion of qualitative data in RevMan, to create a wish list for the RevMan developers.

Description:
Recently, The Cochrane Collaboration has piloted a few protocols on synthesising insights from qualitative research that aim to contribute to a better understanding of Cochrane effectiveness reviews. We will use one of those protocols as an example to show how the different aspects can be fitted into the current version of the software. Participants will receive a version of the protocol to assist them in discussing potential features of RevMan that can be developed to create a better match between the software tools and the protocol features. Qualitative experts in the audience are invited to share difficulties they have experienced in trying to submit these protocols through RevMan and to suggest potential solutions.
