Abstract text
Abstract:
Objectives:
• To highlight the important role of Fields within The Cochrane Collaboration
• To provide training and support to those working with Cochrane Fields

Summary:
Cochrane Fields bring together people from different Cochrane entities for a common cause, and also create links between the Collaboration and the “outside world” through their knowledge translation efforts. Fields have a complex and challenging mandate; therefore, accomplishing Field objectives requires an extensive set of skills.

The Cochrane Fields Executive is offering this training workshop to support those working for Fields. We plan to cover the following:
• How Fields contribute to the overall mission of The Cochrane Collaboration
• The new Field core functions and how they can be carried out
• How Centres, CRGs and other entities can work effectively with Fields to achieve common goals
• The role and functioning of the Fields Executive

We welcome:
• Fields people of all levels of experience, from brand-new to seasoned.
• Anyone with an interest in learning more about the activities of Fields and planning ways of working in partnership.

This is an opportunity to share your experiences, build a network of colleagues, and learn!
