Announcement regarding the location of the 2012 Cochrane Colloquium

Fri, 2011-12-09 09:50

Dear all –

We regret to announce that the 2012 Cochrane Colloquium will not be held in China. This is due to recent changes in Chinese government policy governing scientific meetings, which have made it impossible for the Chinese Cochrane Centre to secure government approval for a meeting of international delegates on the scale of a Colloquium with such short notice.

Madrid Colloquium: Meet the entities? No, 'meat' the entities!

Mon, 2011-09-26 00:51

Food in Spain is a huge preoccupation. Besides the several restaurants with Michelin stars, lunches are more than a nutritional event. They are a social event, a part of the interaction of a business meeting, and sometimes the key part of it. In this context, we would like to invite the Cochrane entities to a new format of the ‘Meet the entities’ session this year. We’re calling it, "Meat the entities": a fusion of lunch time with business time.
